USB port on pi-topCEED HUB mk 1

I tried to use a USB stick with the pi-topCEED by plugging it into the USB port

of the pi-topCEED HUB. Unfortunately the stick isn't recognized. When I plug it into

one of the Raspberry Pi's USB port it is recognized without a problem.

Any hints on how to get the USB port on the pi-topCEED HUB working?

Thanks & Best regards,

I also have this question: I tried a USB keyboard/mouse dongle in the Ceed Hub USB port to free up a USB port on the Pi but without success.

The Hub does not have a USB port. The lookalike carries 5-Volt to the Raspberry Pi.Regards, Ivo.
